London gunmaker John Rigby & Co. has announced a stunning limited edition of its bolt-action Highland Stalker that pays homage to Africa’s longest river and its iconic wildlife. Only 12 of the ‘Nile’ edition rifles, featuring premium materials, exclusive details and expert craftsmanship, will be made. All will be in .300 Win Mag.
Like all Rigby’s bestselling Highland Stalker rifles, the ‘Nile’ editions are built on the renowned Mauser M98 action. Metal parts are adorned with crocodile skin engraving and their 25-inch barrels have a London Best black finish. Their deluxe Turkish walnut stocks will be finished with crocodile-skin patterned leather recoil pads, and feature traditional rounded grips with hand-finished chequering. Three-position wing safeties allow for a variety of scope mounting options. Each rifle comes with its own limited edition faux crocodile skin case and ivorine accessories.
Rigby managing director Marc Newton commented: “This is a superbly practical plains game rifle with looks to match its performance. It will be as at home in Africa as the Nile crocodiles that inspired it.”
Prices start from: £24,950.00 +VAT (outside US) / US$36,995
