PADUCAH, Ky. (January 7, 2021) — Fishing demos will take center stage at the Hawg Tank as part of the Open Season Sportsman’s Expo in Paducah, Ky., January 15-17 at the Paducah-McCracken County Convention & Expo Center.
The Hawg Tank is a mobile 5,000 gallon tank, built on a trailer frame, filled with water and stocked with fish to conduct demonstrations of fishing techniques. With the use of a sound system, guest fishing experts will both educate and entertain show attendees all weekend. The Hawg Tank travels the country to boat shows, sportsman shows, fairs and festivals.
“We are thrilled to bring the Hawg Tank to Paducah for the first time,” Chris O’Hara, Vertical Outdoor Director, Bonnier Events. “For those who have never seen it, they are in for a treat, especially with two well-known hometown Pros sharing their insight and techniques. Kentucky is home to some of the best fishing in the country and we look forward to interacting with fishing enthusiasts all weekend.”
At Paducah, Mark Menendez and Terry Bolton, will both be holding demos/seminars at the Hawg Tank. Menendez, who has been on the Pro Tour for nearly 20 years, is a native of Paducah. Bolton hails from nearby Benton and has also spent a number of years on a variety of Pro Tours.
