OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (February 25, 2021) — Jean-Paul Bourgeois, a renowned and well known chef, will host Wild Game Cooking demonstrations as part of the Seminar Series at the Kansas Open Season Sportsman’s Expo, March 12-14 at the Overland Park Convention Center in Overland Park, Kan.
Bourgeois began his career in the kitchen years ago, boiling crawfish, crabs and shrimp at a local seafood shack in his hometown of Thibodaux, Louisiana. For the past 15 years, Chef Jean-Paul has served as a chef in a number of different restaurants in San Francisco, St. Thomas and New York City.
Today, Bourgeois works in various forms of food media in New York City and around the country. Chef Jean-Paul’s love for cooking food for others is only surpassed by his passion to be an example and teach folks how they too can cook for themselves and bring their family and friends together around the dinner table.
“There is no amount of web-based virtual interactions that can replace the impact of talking food and the outdoors with folks in person,” said Bourgeois. “That’s why I’m so excited to be back cooking for folks again. At the Kansas Expo, I intend to cook game in simple approachable recipes, using classic cooking techniques from the world around us.”
Bourgeois will host one cooking demonstration on Friday, March 12, a pair of demos on Saturday, March 13 and one demo on Sunday, March 14.
