Welcome! Our 2nd Amendment rights are available to all Americans. As a kid, I loved Legos, puzzles, and building things. Not much has changed as I have progressed into adulthood. I still love puzzles and building things. In my case it’s tinkering with archery gear and firearms. This video is an introduction into building an AR-10 chambered in .308 for use in hunting and for long range shooting. I review the parts I am using, why I chose them and offer a brief explanation into my thought process behind this build. This is the first in a series of videos going from the parts to hitting the range.
Will this build be a challenge? Absolutely! I live in California where I am challenged daily, but the main challenge will be can I build an AR-10 to successfully hunt (wild pig) and shoot long range (1,000 yards+). Can it be done? We will soon find out!
I want to thank my partners, sponsors, and incredible people who contributed to this build. Thank you to the military snipers who offered me guidance in my quest for a hunting rifle and long range rifle. Thank you to the companies who gave support, shared ideas behind proper parts, and made suggestions. It was very much appreciated.
