Legion member takes the official world record air rifle Sable Antelope
12.10.20, Springfield, MO. Airgun Hunting Legion is proud to announce the newest air rifle world record Sable taken by Airgun Hunting Legion member Robert Grace from Utah. Grace’s Sable scores an incredible 101 & 0/8ths SCI and, after the official measurement making it the official air rifle Sable world record.
“We are thrilled for Airgun Hunting Legion member Robert Grace for adding his second air rifle world record in addition to his Cape Buffalo,” says Director Jason Reid. “Robert’s Sable breaks down so many barriers for the air rifle hunting community proving the ethical power of big-bore air rifles once again.”
Grace harvested the record Sable in South Africa on August 30, 2018. He hunted the Sable with a Western Big Bore Bushbuck .45 caliber air rifle. Hunting with Motshwere Safaris in South Africa, Robert took the record Sable at 90 yards, and his goal of a lifetime didn’t go 40 yards.
